For our homework, we were tasked with creting a "moodboard" for what would become our animated ident for our showreel and portfolio showcase. Because most of my artwork was inspired from a multitude of things I like, I made the moodboard of exactly that so I could more easily decide on an aesthetic and style to promote myself and my art with.

Even before universty, I knew I gravitated towards assymetry and dark hues of purple contrasted with light blues and the occassional soft red, but compiling the media and objects I hold dear onto this moodboard helped me realise that I lean into media wth surreal, dreamlike aesthetics. I also learnt things about myself too, like how my love for alcoholic mixers translates into my passion for experimentation and conceptualisation, since I love seeing the inner-workings of the artwork I like. My love for assymetry also matches with how I lean towards messy and rough artwork, once again tying to conceptualisation.
I already have a logo I use for my brnding, but going forward, my ident will sleeker and more polished. I hope to incorporate the same colours and aesthetic I love in my art whilst keeping that "urban and grafitti" style I love and try to keep present in my art.
