"TeaParty!" - Concept Trailer

For my final college project, I wanted to execute this big, bold concept for a ten minute animation based off of my 2D crossover fighting-game concept. It would show a series of characters individually created by me and my friends/classmates and delve into their personal fears and traumas through a grossly sparkly tea-party in a Lovecraft-horror themed London forever trapped in the Victorian era.
Obviously the runtime being two minutes instead of the aimed ten means that I may have gone overboard during pre-production and vastly overestimated my resources and limited production time, but the idea still sits comfortably in my head, and I am still oh-so happy with how it came out; rushed production and all!
Admittedly, part of the reason why I presented the animation as a "trailer" or "proof-of-concept", was to excuse the short runtime. I had lots of concepts and story for this planned, all which can be found at the bottom of this post!
Special thanks to these friends and/or classmates that allowed me to use their wonderful characters for the production of TeaParty!:
